What is a cookie?
This information is collected with the help of cookies. Cookies are simply small text files that are stored on the hard drive or in the memory of your computer. Cookies cannot damage your computer or the files located on your computer, and they can never be used to access personal information from your computer or to intercept passwords. They can also not infect your computer with a virus or Trojan.
Rejecting cookies?
You can decide for yourself whether you wish to accept cookies or reject them or if you wish your browser to inform you whenever a cookie is placed. To do so, you need to adjust your browser settings. As every browser is different, you should refer to the “help” menu of your browser to set your cookie preferences. If you set your browser to reject cookies, it will have an effect only on the computer and browser that you are using when you adjust the settings. If you use more than one computer and/or browser, you need to repeat this procedure as often as necessary.
